Is The Black Middle Class Doomed: A Follow Up

This is a follow up to a posting I made, entitled “Is The Black Middle Class Doomed“, because of an excerpt of another site posted on the Sixth Ward Blog, entitled “Can the Black Middle Class Survive: Obama Is in the Oval Office but the Black Bourgeoisie is Foundering“.  This is a really sad article on the state of the Black Middle Class in America.

 

STOP!  DON’T GO ANY FURTHER reading my detailed response, until you’ve read the complete article above.

 

 

Here is a summary of my position:

 

1. Every policy in the Black community is geared towards the dumb, poor, “Proudly Stupid” low class Blacks who exist among us.  Blacks in the middle class who rightfully work the “American Dream” for themselves and their families are viewed as traitors to the race and shunned, as if doing the right thing is negatively viewed as being “White”.

 

2. Blacks, as a whole, are judged by other groups based solely on the actions of the low class Black savages that plague our race.  Unfortunately, part of this reason is that many good Blacks make perpetual excuses for these pathetic scumbags and always come to the rescue when the hopeless Black idiots do wrong.  Therefore, we all suffer the perception of being worthless!

 

 

The image of Black America has been SEVERELY and almost PERMANENTLY ruined by the idiots in our race:

 

In the 1950’s and early 1960’s, the image of a Black American was clean cut, proper English speaking, education minded, hard working, and having a stable family unit.

 

Today, that image has been replaced with the GHETTO culture of dirty, ebonics speaking, broken families with out-of-wedlock births somewhere between 80% to 95%, pants hanging off the buttocks of unemployable Black men, Black women relying solely on Government Money because they can’t provide for their multiple kids by multiple fathers, obesity around 80%, almost universal diabetes & other health problems, hating education, and just proud ignorance.

 

If this negative image was around during the Civil Rights era, NOTHING would have been accomplished, as is the case NOW!

 

 

Blacks are being relegated to an Irrelevant status, and I fear the next step could be far worse!

 

 

Reading this article, what should we do?

 

 

1. Good Blacks MUST separate from the Bad Blacks.

 

The talk show host, Dennis Miller, coined this magnificent phrase:

“Help The Helpless!  Forget The Clueless!”

Miller brilliantly condenses highly intelligent observations into simple comments.

 

I take it a step further:

“Help The Helpless, F@#$ the Clueless, Throw The Clueless In Jail Or Send Them To The Grave Through An Approved Concealed Carry Law When They Get Violently Angry With You For No Longer Wasting Time With Them And They Want To Forcefully Take What You Worked Hard To Obtain!”

 

No Exceptions!

 

 

2. Diversify Our Votes

 

The old saying, “All politics are local”, is so true.

 

Black life is terrible in this area, which is exclusively run by the Democratic Machine.  Republicans run NOTHING in Chicago, Cook County, and Illinois.  Yet, our greatest fear is a Republican in local office.

 

STUPID!

 

Get over your fear of Republicans, and make both parties work for your vote.  Otherwise, one party ignores you, and the other party screws you over big time.

 

And be very skeptical about Third Parties.  They almost never win, and it really is a WASTED vote!  Yeah, I said it, WASTED (to hell with the Politically Correct response).

 

 

3. Entrepreneurship

 

If no one wants to employ us, then we should start our own businesses.

 

Yes, I know that access to capital is limited to Blacks, but it’s not an excuse.  Figure out a way to finance your business.

 

A.  Use the Bartering System:

“I’ll cut your lawn and repair your roof, if you watch my kids and take me to work.”

“Teach me about marketing, and I’ll teach you how to make money on the internet.”

Take the money you save on bartering, and start your business.

 

B.  Work another job or do freelance work, and save your money to start your business.

 

C.  Start a low-cost business on the internet and market to people around the world.

Affiliate Links, Adsense, Membership Podcasts & Webinars, etc.

 

 

4. Invest in Tangible Assets

Gold, Silver, etc.

Even Real-Estate has some viability (people who lose their homes have to live somewhere).

 

 

5. Fight For Your Rights

 

If you have done everything right, and you still face discrimination, then FIGHT BACK with a severe intensity.  At the end of the day, just because the image of today’s Blacks is negative, it is NO Excuse for others groups to treat you wrong when you have shown them that you are not a savage!  But remember, in order to be “in the right”, you can’t do wrong and make excuses for your actions.

 

 

Time has pretty much run out for Blacks.  So, act now, before things get worse.

 

Of course, like always, Black people will completely ignore what I’ve said here and turn to useless “Messiahs” for guidance.

 

 

WE’RE DOOMED!

Is The Black Middle Class Doomed

The Black Middle Class is virtually DOOMED! The Black Middle Class is in a terrible, unfortunate, heartbreaking catch 22.

Every policy in the Black community is geared towards the dumb, poor, low class, “do nothing but wait for a messiah to save me” Blacks. Therefore those Blacks in the middle class who want the best for themselves and their families are viewed as traitors to the race and shunned.

On the other hand, those same clean cut, middle class Blacks are generally not wanted in non-Black communities because of the stereotyped view that ALL BLACKS ARE POOR, LOW CLASS, AND BRING CRIME TO THE COMMUNITY. The same public policy of catering to low class Blacks mentioned above plays a role here.  Worst yet, those middle class Blacks who do move into middle to upper middle class non-Black areas seem to scare Whites away, thus opening the door for the same low class, troublemaking Blacks from which middle class Blacks were trying to escape.  Just sad!

 

Bravo to the Chicago Magazine for once again observing the problems in Black community. They seem more interested in exposing the real problems in our community than our Black Media. Even WVON is somewhat worthless. Radio stations like WLS-AM (Roe and Roeper), WIND-AM (Big John and Amy, Dennis Miller, Michael Medved), WJJG-AM (even the harsh Michael Savage) and other White radio stations have focused on the SUPPORT of the Black Middle Class, while WVON-AM focuses on making excuses for Blacks with a poor, inferior mentality, and they bring on the charlatan politicians, preachers, and community activists who all exist solely for their own advancements. Pathetic!

 

So, what can be done?

 

Something was done in the past. The Chatham community of Chicago WAS a great example of middle class Blacks living together, where they could raise a family and live relatively peaceful lives. With the closings of the housing projects and placements of these SAVAGES into middle class areas, Chatham has fallen, as well as any other middle class Black communities.
(Yes, I said it… SAVAGES… If you don’t like it, go cry into the lap of your numerous false messiahs.)

For those of you who perpetually focus on the positive, Blacks with intelligence and a real interest in having better lives must either maintain the havens of the Black Middle Class or create new ones.

Insist that our elected officials get whatever funds available and spend it on things that matter, like:

1. A community video grid. Every home in the area, or, at least, a select few per block, should have a video/security system that watches a segment of their neighborhood. Many of the new video systems have live internet cams that can viewed from anywhere.

2. Community watchers who walk around our neighborhoods, monitoring anything strange. Yes, there are people who will happily volunteer, but, if the money is available, why not give these individual HEROES something for their time.

MOST IMPORTANT: Don’t waste time, resources, or MONEY helping those Blacks who don’t care about themselves or YOU!

I have to add another solution that some will not like:
CONCEALED CARRY (Yes, a controversial issue… TOO BAD!)
“A polite society is an ARMED society!”
The first law of nature is Self-Preservation. Nothing, and I mean nothing matters if you are deprived of life by these neighborhood criminal “monsters of evil”. No new middle class families moving into the area, no higher property values, no safe schools, no safe business locations, no safe jobs, and no safe environments for our children and seniors will happen, if we can’t protect ourselves, once we walk out of our homes. And no, it won’t become the “Wild West”. Anyone who disputes this, show me the data in this country where large amounts of death and destruction have occurred, once Concealed Carry was passed. By the way, if you want Jesus to protect you, that’s fine. Just don’t deny the rest of us with common sense the ability to protect ourselves by other means.

 

Sadly, what I always say, consistently, is not heard.

Therefore, the Black Middle Class is virtually doomed!

I normally discuss broader issues that affect African Americans a a whole, but this Ward Remapping and attack on Chicago’s 6th Ward has really caught my attention.

 

Everything that is wrong with the Black Community is in this Ward Remapping drama:

 

Black Politicians betraying their own constituents to satisfy their selfish, EVIL ambitions.

Criminals having free reign to terrorize communities because preachers, community activists, and politicians WILLINGLY let it happen.

The Middle Class is being destroyed, but the Black Middle Class is being decimated, ironically, by those Blacks who want to remove any obstacles to their goals of complete control over Black People.

Those Blacks who strive for excellence are looked down upon by those Blacks who do not strive for excellence…. and the Black Preachers, Black Community Activists, and Black Politicians share in this STUPIDITY!!!

BLACK PEOPLE, LIKE ALWAYS, WAIT UNTIL “AFTER THE FACT” INSTEAD OF BEING PRO-ACTIVE BEFORE BAD THINGS HAPPEN!

Comment On The Black Aldermen Ward Remapping Proposal

I had to post this comment written by a reader.  Very detailed and to the point!

If Alderman Sawyer plans to vote to support the Black Caucus map at the expense of the voters who got him elected in the 6th Ward, then I say he should be a ONE TERM ALDERMAN!

Anyone who would support that incompetent, ego-tripping, imperialist acting, brainy smurf, Alderman Brookins, should go by the wayside. This new map would so hideously impact Chatham voters by making our home and automobile insurance go up because our strong base of middle class communities in the ward would no longer exist. So when the bean counters finish looking at the per capita numbers, we would suffer penalties that would include the above and also affect our property values as well!

It would make Chatham, given the other blights we are now fighting, unattractive beyond compare in our efforts to get younger families to move here. This is an aging ward, people, with most residents over 55 years of age living in the ward. Residents in Chatham are averaging even older–– probably 72 years old or more.

As for Brookins, I hope someone will start the drive to assist voters in his ward for PAYBACK! The kind of PAYBACK SUPPORT to make sure he loses his office at the next election. His ward needs us to rescue them from his fiefdom manner!

Oh, so you, Alderman Brookins plan to give 9th Ward Alderman Beale part of the 6th Ward to be fair. As well as handing over a piece of our ward to you (Brookins) too! This is the kind of slick move that will eventually cost Brookins any ambitions he has for a bigger office in the future. WE AREN’T GOING TO FORGET THIS!

If 6th Ward voters are paying attention, they should know Brookins has always taken issue with the strength and independence of the 6th ward voter. He has never liked that we question his motives across the Dan Ryan if they don’t seem to be firmly fitting with our community’s concerns. Like we never go on his side to shop! I am hoping none of us will forget this if Brookins recommended map gets approved! For his own petty political reasons and for the sake of his own ambitions, he would sacrifice one of the few wards where the black middle-class has historically flourished!

I’m hoping black voters in the old 6th Ward, as we are splintered via this new map, remember to dog him the rest of his career. This has nothing to do with being equitable as much as it has to do with helping another incompetent like Alderman Beale stay in office. Though ultimately, he will probably lose anyway. Beale along with some other black Aldermen need to be thrown under the bus simply because at best they were functioning do-nothings and Daley lackeys.

And is it true that Beale is so scared of folks in our ward that he has asked that the blocks Richard Wooten lives on stay in the 6th Ward? This way, Beale won’t be aggressively challenged in the next aldermanic election he runs in?

All in all, I will be sicken if Sawyer sucks up to the Black Caucus and bends over to kiss Brookins’ ring. If he does, heed this warning, Alderman Sawyer–– Find another office to run for because the rest of voters remaining in the 6th Ward will be gunning for YOU! And rightly so!

P.S. It’s time for black voters to stop licking the boots of the professional, black career alderman. It’s time for us to vote for only 25 aldermen and see how the whole political landscape gets shaken up! These people are in it only for their own benefit. This is the real reason that black communities have been on the demise. You just can’t attribute everything to white folks anymore. MOST BLACK ALDERMEN SUPPORTED DALEY–LOOK AT THE PUBLIC RECORDS!

This is not a slick, white boy move for 25 aldermen, as much as it is a new day move that should remove the blinders from the eyes of black voters who are still wanting to believe that the Black Caucus is really concerned about our lives. NOT TRUE!!

It’s a New Year! Let’s DEMAND a New Beginning! We should be smart enough to sieve through the bull that most black, incumbent aldermen feed us and determine who should be kept in a 25 man council–-if any.
Actually, it would be an opportunity for a political renaissance that might allow for newer, unencumbered candidates to emerge without that old school taint of wanting the council seat for personal advancement.

 

 

Once again, very detailed on many levels.

Black citizens who STRIVE for better lives are being attacked!  They are being lumped in with people who STRIVE for nothing!

 

If you’re going to comment on Irate’s comment, try to stick to the facts.  Readers to my blog know I have no respect for mindless or “excuse making” emotions.  Don’t repeat what was said in different words (some of you often do that).  Add something to the discussion.  It’s fine if you want to disagree, as long as you can back it up.

Problems With Chicago’s 6th Ward

What is going on in Chicago’s 6th Ward?

CRIME, ECONOMIC PROBLEMS, and POLITICAL UPHEAVAL.

First, let me give the floor to one of my 6th Ward readers:

What is going on with the 6th Ward’s political problems?

I think it is more about saving the butts of three black alderman 

who have loss blacks voters living in their ward. Now they are 

confronted with a ward makeup favoring Hispanics. Thus, it 

leaves the door open for a Hispanic Alderman to take over if

they don’t get some black voters.

There are several legitimate reasons that so many blacks

left those wards and fled to live in the suburbs: 1. they felt

unsafe due to the surging crime in their areas, 2. upset at

the schools that these aldermen neglected and allowed

to deteriorate to the mess they are today, and 3. lack of

services that would enhance or make those communities

flourish more. You know what I mean: the kind of services

that Northside communities know about and take for granted.

I lived in Lincoln Park for 10 years and know what I am talking

about.

Moreover, these alderman were so indifferent to their

wards, they weren’t sharing with their black constituents

city/state programs that they could avail themselves of. A

lot of our black alderman were just lackeys to Mayor Daley.

And we all suffered for that!

Now the answer of the Black Caucus is this smoke

screen–blacks in the city will lose power to Hispanics,

that the census under-counted blacks or blacks hid

from the census. That’s political bull!

It’s about these three aldermen keeping their jobs, while

their other alderman friends worry– ultimately–about

keeping their jobs safe until the next census (10 years

from now).

And anyone who reads the papers or the Internet knows

that Hispanics are going to outnumber blacks, as well as

whites in Chicago in another three to four years–along

with a few other major cities.

I was told by someone who works inside the city that even

if Chesterfield, West Chesterfield and Roseland Heights are

added to the 9th Ward, Alderman Beale will still lose his job

at the next election.

Why, because the number of Hispanics living in that

ward is so large that all they have to do is get behind

one Hispanic candidate. If they can do that, Beale

is history.

So then that means all of their community groups

will be secondary to the Hispanic community groups.

Maybe, just maybe, Chesterfield will be the go-to-black

organization because they have historically more pull

in the past via recognition from the mayor’s and state

offices (I guess you know Connie Howard got

Chesterfield a $50,000 grant recently).

So Chesterfield might be able to continue to be heard

under a Hispanic alderman. But who knows?

Alderman Sawyer said that our three communities involved

in this remapping: West Chesterfield, Chesterfield and

Roseland Heights all provide more votes than the entire

whole 9th Ward as it is currently composed. So you

see what this is about.

Our group has to help those guys fight that remapping!

Chatham volunteers need to help these communities

get signatures from residents in Chesterfield and the other

communities if they need help.

Look, Chatham is principally 60% to 65% seniors

over 75 years old. As the senior folks die off, whose’s

going to want to come to our ward if the middle

class base erodes?

All of the communities from 78th street south to the

end of our ward are solid middle-class. Park Manor has

more working class people that comprise lower middle

class standards.

Plus, the federal and state legislators who always need

6th ward voting support will now ignore Chatham and

the ward because we won’t have any voting clout as the

6th ward with you guys gone.

Not to mention that this is Lyle’s ultimate pay-back to

us and Sawyer for pushing her out.

So we all will suffer if this occurs. It’s that simple!

If our ward is structured the way Brookins and Lyle

want it, well, any money that comes to the 6th Ward

will be given first to the very depressed Englewood

area– and rightly so compared to Chatham. But

then Park Manor will be next and can we hold our

breath that long?

I hear we will get one half of Englewood in the 6th

Ward according to this proposed map.

The feeling will be that more of the Chatham people

(seniors) are on good city, state and federal pensions

from working in the government sector as teachers,

policeman, fireman, postman, Post Office, and so on.

So money won’t be an issue. But everyone knows

seniors tend to retrench and live a lot more frugally

so they will be less apt to pitch in and take care

of the community.

Therefore the remaining, smaller percentage of middle

aged residents (40’s to mid 60’s) will be screwed.

Most black folks don’t understand this is a manipulation 

ploy the Black Caucus is pulling by screaming that the 

Hispanics will have all the power in the city. 

It is what it is! They have the population and

we don’t. We are being tricked into bailing these

three alderman out–along with the rest– so they can

be insured of their jobs for another 10 years until

the next census count. Most of our black alderman

are over 50.

The other community groups have got to have talking 

points that folks can relate to passionately including some 

of the above I cited.  We have got to protect our interests 

and be smarter than before–not be led like sheep.

 

Again, I just expressed my opinion. But I know a lot

of folks in area are watching this closely. It doesn’t

make sense to them. And many are now realizing that

voters must look out for themselves.

If you are a good alderman, it won’t matter if your ward is

more Hispanic than black. Look at the two Hispanic wards

that have white aldermen: Alderman Burke is one of

them. If you protect your ward, like Burke does, Hispanics

will continue to vote you in. If you are a bad incumbent, these

days you are going to lose your job–eventually.

Voters are unhappy with do-nothing, incumbent, career

politicians.

NOW, Let Me Give MY Observations On The State Of Black Chicago, Using The Sixth Ward As A Model:

The 6th Ward is home to middle and upper middle class communities that have been intact for around half a century.  At one time, this ward was more upscale than some of the White areas in Chicago, like Lincoln Park, Bucktown, Wicker Park, etc.

Recently, CRIME has plagued the decent communities of this ward.  This ward is screaming for police help but are told that there is a shortage of police.  Of course, not only will this decent ward not get additional police protection, but IL. State law prevents citizens from having the right to Conceal Carry to protect themselves in these areas with a shortage of police.  Yet, the White areas of Chicago are well protected by the police.  Even one of the justices in the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down the Chicago Gun Ban mentioned his concern that the Chicago Mayor REFUSED to protect his Black and Brown citizens.

Recently, a school for rotten kids was moved into the heart of the 6th Ward’s Chatham area.  Yet, no one in the Chatham area was even notified of this school.

(Yea, I called them ROTTEN.  What other reason would they be kicked out of public school?  If YOU have a problem with my words, then GET LOST!  STUPIDITY AND TOUCHY-FEELY, POLITICALLY CORRECT EMOTIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED HERE!).

Do you think this disrespect could have been pulled off in Lincoln Park?  NOPE

Do you think Lincoln Park would have opened their arms to these bad kids?  NOPE

Could crime in this area be caused by these rotten kids scoping out the area before and after school?  HMMMM

Just asking.

In Chicago, there is a current Ward Remapping, in which Black Wards are primarily affected.  The common response is that the Black population has gone down, and the Hispanic population has gone up.  Whether or not it’s true, it is a smokescreen.  Several cowardly, do nothing, flunky Daley supporting Negro Aldermen are losing the support of their communities, particularly the areas that surround the 6th Ward.  To protect the rear ends of the “AlderNegroes”, it seems to have been decided that the 6th Ward has to be altered to add its quality voters to these other wards.  Combining that with adding part of the crime ridden, low voter turnout Englewood area, the stable and strong 6th Ward is being destroyed on the political and economic level.  I always thought that no one bothers the wards with strong, consistent voter turnout.  But, then again, an intelligent voter can’t be controlled.

WHAT’S MY POINT?

I’m really getting tired of all of us Black folks being treated as the same.  In the minds of your average dumb, “church loving”, “country acting” Negro, “wee is all da same”.  Those of us Blacks with intelligence, sophistication, kindness, and the desire to live as law abiding citizens are ALWAYS LUMPED IN WITH THESE DUMB, COUNTRY IGNORANT, NEGRO SAVAGE MONSTROSITIES who plague and prey on our communities!  Although this lumping is done by Whites and other groups who judge us based upon how Blacks are perceived in the media, what really bothers me is that our Black politicians are selling out ALL BLACK PEOPLE for their own selfish benefits.

Also, why are we not allowed to separate ourselves from those who want to perpetrate MAYHEM?  Don’t give that Class Warfare speech.  If you sensitive people feel so strongly about our less fortunate bothers and sisters, then move out of your comfortable environment, and go live with these less fortunate people.  PUT UP OR SHUT UP!

SO, WHAT CAN BE DONE?

I don’t know.

Actually, I do know.  But many readers won’t like the answers:

These self serving Black Democrats of Chicago and Cook County have to be VOTED OUT!  NO EXCEPTIONS OR EXCUSES!!  They’ve had enough time to help the Black Community, and they BLEW IT!  GOOD-BYE!  And PLEASE LET THE DOOR HIT YOU ON THE WAY OUT!!!

Diversify your votes.  Yes, I mean start voting REPUBLICAN.  And don’t give me that “I’ll support an Independent” crap!  Until Independents can actually win on a consistent basis, it’s a wasted vote.  At this time, there are only two political parties that matter.  So, Wise Up.  Now, before you idiotic readers start saying the Republicans aren’t offering anything to Blacks, why is that the case?  If the Black Community so doggedly supports the Democratic Party, what’s the point of Republicans doing anything for us?  DUUUUHHHH!!!

Like I always say, those of us Blacks with brains have to work with each other.  Things are going to get worse for all of us in this country, and we can’t waste time on those who are stuck on STUPID!

Rev. Blanchard, the author of “Black Man With A Gun”, has been a prolific speaker. His website Black Man With A Gun has been around since 1999 and has been a beacon for information about the racist roots of gun control. Blanchard has been featured on hundreds of talk radio shows, and three documentaries. He started as a firearms trainer for federal police officers, and civilian’s since 1986. The Marine Corps veteran accepted the call in the Gospel ministry in 2000.

A number of speakers will discuss today’s violence, firearms for self-defense, and Illinois laws regarding guns.  The gun laws as they exist, have not, do not, and will not stop criminals from either getting or using guns illegally.  What it stops is law abiding citizens from protecting themselves. There will be tables for people to register to vote and as well as to apply for a FOID card which is required by Illinois residents to legally possess or purchase firearms or ammunition.

The sponsoring organizations hope to get the word out to residents of Chicago that the right to carry a firearm for personal protection is fundamental and citizens of Illinois are being denied that right as compared to 49 other states. Those sponsoring the meeting are hoping for a strong turnout and hope to encourage politicians from both sides of the political aisle to examine the facts and experiences of the 49 states with effective right to carry laws in place. They also hope to encourage voters to take direct action by supporting only those candidates that publicly give their support to the right of trained and properly licensed Illinois residents to carry a firearm for self defense.
